The staff here were always super friendly and went out of their way to help us out. We loved how convenient the standard king room was, it even had a mini fridge tucked away in the closet stocked with fresh fruit 🍎.

Beach approx. 100 m away, restaurants and bars approx. 500 m, for urban conditions quiet beach settlement location, rooms practical and clean, very good service - e.g. also free beach utensils and beach towels, roof terrace, parking included, breakfast relatively extensive and included, staff very friendly, charm of the good old times (built in the 60s), not such a modern, sterile, cold atmosphere - but comfortable, LAX with free freeway in one hour, come since 1994 to Newport Beach and since 2008 in this hotel, m.E. for the location really the best value for money

WLAN is not the fastest and for today's time the amount of breakfast garbage is very strange - it makes things a little too easy for me, because in my opinion it is possible. more - even without great effort and costs.

Charming hotel in every way. Hotel staff so helpful. Delicious cookies 24/7 and perfect breakfast everyday. The room was very clean and cheery and the location is perfect for the beach and restaurants. Love this place!!!

The hotel offers amazing and great breakfast with food and drinks. Staff is extremely helpful and attentive. The location is the best possible and comfy, minutes from a scenic pier.

I typically don't write reviews but I had to for my stay at this hotel. The staff there are absolutely amazing they treat you like family. Location, Location, Location you can walk to many places to eat from here. They have a good breakfast every morning and fresh baked cookies every day at 3:00. We will certainly stay here again.

Everything! Perfect locale, clean/cozy rooms, and a kind and professional staff.

The breakfast is amazing and awesome with a great view, food, and drinks. Light-hearted conversation and everything you need. Central location near Balboa Pier, Balboa Fun Zone, the sea, the harbor, and close to restaurants and bars.

Friendly staff! Great area all within walking or biking distance of the beach, boardwalk, and village. Go to the rooftop after you get your free breakfast in the lobby, and enjoy the views!.

Everything and everybody focused on our well-being and gave our hearts a great and very comfortable time. Location, location, location! Even as a frmer Newport Beach resident - almost no better location to stay besides beach front but balboa Island view is also always spectaular. Breakfast & Afternoon cockies, beach Equipment, Suite view - lucky we made it up to 308 (: Tks staff!!! Just a perfect stay and for sure we'll be back next time!

Since our room was facing street, there was traffic noise all night making it difficult to sleep.

Conveniently situated near Mothers Beach, making it super easy to enjoy the sand and waves. The staff here is super friendly and really knows their stuff! 🌊

Location is convenient for beach access, good restaurants are close.
